At Lume, we are redefining eyewear by offering solutions to common vision problems in a truly high-end way. We don't just settle for standard solutions; we're always pushing boundaries. Every day, our team engages with our community to understand their needs, address new challenges, and develop state-of-the-art eyewear that makes a difference. Currently, we offer two specialized solutions, both designed to elevate your experience with eyewear. Want to join the team?

Blue light

Our blue light glasses go beyond the typical coatings and colorings that most brands use. Traditionally, blue light lenses are coated with a yellow tint that filters out blue light, the most intense part of the visible light spectrum. However, this approach often compromises clarity and alters color perception.

At Lume, we utilize a cutting-edge technology called "Blue Cut." Instead of coating or tinting the lens, we use a special type of glass that naturally filters out blue light while remaining fully transparent. These lenses feature a unique anti-reflective coating to maintain perfect clarity and offer a slight green tint. Why green? It's the next color in the light spectrum after blue, which is why, when the blue light is blocked, a hint of green emerges.

Driving

Our second solution tackles the problem of intense light glare, especially from modern LED headlights. The Lume driving lens is specifically designed to reduce glare and enhance vision in low-light conditions. This lens has a specific index and a unique coating that transforms and breaks down bright white light. As a result, the lenses appear to have a slight purple hue, which is the lowest color in the light spectrum after white is filtered. This makes it perfect not only for night driving but also for reducing harsh light during the day.
